| We realized that if we made a few sacrifices, trained a little harder, did a lot of research and prepared well, we could change the world…if only one library at a time. So, here we go. Two guys who have never been to Nepal, but have been fortunate enough to have read more than our fair share of books. Now, we're working hard after work and on weekends and training in cold and snow to make this a success. We’re doing everything in our power to make a difference to some kids who want to read a story. It's the most satisfying thing we've ever done. We are serious about our commitment to this cause. Together we are putting in more than... - 400 hours of training time - 200 hours of fund raising time - Several thousand francs of our own money (all donations go to Room to Read, not us) - and all of our vacation/holiday time at work! Thank you! We also want to thank our families, our friends and our girlfriends for the tremendous enthusiasm, support and encouragement. Without you, we couldn't have organised and trained for this. This just would not be possible. Thanks Follow our progress...Check out our journal >> |
